Takes some time to get a good grip of what is going on in our life. Finding tips and tricks on how to make our life easy becomes the norm and you are looking for a magic solution to get more things done with the same 24 hours.

Now, let’s add to the equation the entrepreneur side. It could be chaos!

Not only the feeling that you don’t get things done but the fact is that sometimes you are actually not getting anything done.

I want you to think for a moment about when was your most productive day? What things you did do that day? how? when? Sometimes is not about doing everything like everyone else but finding your own voice and knowing what works for you. Follow these steps to get started with your productive journey

1. know when is your most productive time and set a routine around it

So, literally as moms, we have our limitations when it comes to rest. But the importance of knowing when you are way more productive and what do you need to have around you to be 100% dedicated to getting things done is magical. Also, as I mentioned before, you need to know what works for you and try it out without not judgment on yourself. For a long time, I thought my productive time was at night. But then I change it to get up in the morning ( after 5 failures intents) and I notice I needed a shower, put my pajamas back on, a cup of coffee and you won’t believe it, it changes the whole game for me. Find your time and find your way.

2. Set an intention for the day and write it down

I try to always have a planner next to me and I like to write my intention for each day. Some days are more focused on finishing a project or starting one. Some other days just need to don’t stress out so I make that my intention for the day.

The intention can be really personal o work-related and why not, can be both.

The main idea is for your mind to get some focus on your priorities on that day. There is a click in your heart and mind when you do that and get them both on the same path.

3. Take advantage of your mornings

Mornings are different for every mom but definitely, there is a lot you can get done.

So, as we mentioned in the first step, know your most productive time to work on your ideas and make them happen. But definitely use your morning to be productive as well. You can dedicate this time to getting your mind right, make some exercise, sharing with the kids, having a healthy breakfast, do some laundry. Everything you can fit in there is amazing and a big win.

4. Put your phone on focus mode

So, you get up early, get your coffee, sit down to use your brain in your dedicated 2 hours time to be productive. Everything is going well until you see a notification on your phone about that email somebody sent you. Now you are going to lose 20 mins of your time scrolling and searching for more stuff on your phone. Sounds dramatic right? But it’s the truth!

I called self-control. Having a phone next to you can be a trigger point for distraction. Try to avoid having your phone next to you when you are working on your dedicated time.

5. Make space for relaxation

People skip this step and it is part of a successful productive routine. We can get burned out and life has a balance itself.

Schedule time to relax, time to don’t do anything. everybody needs that space to do anything without feeling guilty. It is really common with mom. We never take breaks and we need to stop that habit, it is more harmful than good.

Take your ME time at least once a week and recharge all the energy, restore ideas and keep moving momma!

6. Eat the frog

Your biggest and most important task is the frogs. Those that most likely are going to make you procrastinate. Those are the ones that you need to tackle first. If you haven’t read that book I recommend it, “Bryan Tracy, Eat the frog”. You will feel so much better after doing the ugly things first, believe me…

7. Be flexible

Life is crazy and unpredictable. So do you!

There are some days you can’t see the light in the things that you do or the routine you set up is not working at all. Those exist and happens a lot to a lot of mom. Just be flexible and remember that there is always a tomorrow to try them again. Cheer up you can do this.
